Location: Cortez Street

Event Date: Sat Jul 24, 2010

The Prescott Regulators & Their Shady Ladies, Inc. would like to thank everyone -- our members, the city of Prescott, our invited guests and our general public for the very successful 5th Annual Shootout on Whiskey Row.

There were six goups participating in the re-enactment competition.  Each group showed off their unique style and skill.

First Place:  Southwest Legends Gunfighters, Queen Creek, AZ

Second Place:  Horse Apple Dumpling Gang, Barstow, CA

Third Place:  Guns and Garters, Running Springs, CA

Honorable Mention:  Deguello Gunslingers, Yuma, AZ

Peoples' Choice Award:  Doctor Buck's Wild Bunch, Goodyear, AZ

   Colorado River Riders, Yuma, AZ

The late 1800's costume competition and fashion show was a huge success.  Many Thank You's to Bonnie Russell and Dale Charnes for their narration.

There were more "old west" style vendors than ever.

PRSL's own Ft. Whipple Regulars set up an absolutely fantastic tent with displays of all types of military hardware and accessories.

The Arizona Rough Riders' booth offered a look at another part of Prescott's history.

The Sharlot Hall Museum and other non profit organizations added their ambience to the mix.

PRSL again recognized Yavapai Big Brothers/Big Sisters as our featured charity.  We are proud to share the net proeeds of this event with them to help further the wonderful work that they do with the youth in our area.

PRSL was fortunate to have several GREAT individuals and groups who performed between the gunfight skits and lightened our day.  Many Thanks to the following people:

Arizona Gunfighters, Mesa, AZ -- Professional historical event presenters

Mojave Muleskinners, Apache Junction, AZ -- A great Arizona re-enactment group

Ghost the Legend (John Larkin), Yuma, AZ -- Living history educator

Little Egypt, Flagstaff, AZ -- Unique dancer carrying out actual history

Joe Bethancourt, Glendale, AZ -- Superb guitarist, vocalist and banjo player

Clyde Score, Prescott, AZ -- Terrific musical renditions

"Dinty," Guns and Garters, Running Springs, CA -- Old-time fiddle player

Lee Alexander -- An old-time vacquero and his horse Concho

Anna Nava - Our national anthem vocalist

Please come see us at our 6th Annual Shootout on Whiskey Row next year.
